PREVIEW | St. Johnstone vs Hibernian (27/04/24)

St. Johnstone are back in action, with their first game of the split fixtures against Hibernian.

Saints slumped to a disappointing defeat last time out against Kilmarnock, in their last fixture ahead of the split.

The result left Saints in tenth place in the cinch Premiership with 31 points, just one point ahead of eleventh placed Ross County headed into the split.

Last Time Out

Craig Levein's return to Easter Road saw Saints come away with a huge three points.

After a goalless first half, a second goal in as many games for Adama Sidibeh saw Saints take the lead. However, the lead was short lived as Hibs' Chris Cadden brought the hosts level after finishing off a rebound from Mitov.

The winner came on 81 minutes as substitute Graham Carey’s corner was met by Tony Gallacher, who poked the ball after a scramble in the six-yard box to secure a big 3 points for Saints.
